Configure split rent for roommates, guarantors, and helpers

Add lease participants, assign responsibility percentages, and generate individual obligations without losing the full-rent picture.

Follow these steps

  1. As an authorized lease manager, open the lease and its Members tab.
  2. Add each party with the correct role and rent responsibility. Review the split totals before posting obligations.
  3. Post charges for the intended period and verify each resident's amount and the combined rent total. Residents should contact their property team to request a split change.

A payment helper is not automatically a lease party. Changing future responsibility should not be used to rewrite an already posted charge.
