Accounting

Ledger integrity, manual journals, and reporting closes

A rent platform can own operational accounting only if it protects double-entry discipline, period traceability, and source-to-ledger lineage.

Control 1

Every charge, payment, refund, credit, fee, and payout adjustment should map to journal entries that preserve source identifiers.

Control 2

Manual journals should be restricted to privileged staff and require narrative context before posting.

Control 3

Statements and exports should be reproducible from the ledger rather than from mutable dashboard aggregates.
